TJT continues to expand and grow as part of its ongoing commitment to serving our clients and their accounting and tax needs. The firm is proud to announce the addition of Haley Myers, Wilson Hicks and William Ritter to the partner group.
Haley Myers began her career in public accounting in 2009. Before joining TJT in 2013, Haley worked for a national firm in Maryland, where she specialized in large multi-state corporations and their ownership group. Her other areas of expertise include nonprofits, hospitality, and high net worth individuals and family groups. Haley assists clients with income tax planning and compliance, transactional services, as well as multi-state tax matters. As a Tax Partner in the Raleigh office, Haley brings over fourteen years of tax experience serving her clients in public accounting. She is a North Carolina licensed Certified Public Accountant and a member of the AICPA and NCACPA. Haley graduated with honors from East Carolina University with an undergraduate dual concentration in accounting and finance and a master’s degree in accounting. Haley grew up in New Bern and currently resides in Youngsville with her husband, Thomas and sons, Mason (10), Max (6) and Sam (4). In her leisure time, Haley enjoys baking and spending time with her family.
Wilson Hicks has spent his entire public accounting career with TJT since starting with the firm in 2013. Wilson worked in the Raleigh office for 8 years before moving to Wilmington in 2021. As a Tax Partner in the Wilmington office, Wilson serves clients across the state in the areas of real estate, manufacturing, online retail and professional services. Wilson spends much of his time providing income tax planning for closely held businesses and consulting with them on entity structuring, mergers/acquisitions and multi-state tax matters. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant, a member of the AICPA and NCACPA, and has both undergraduate and graduate degrees in accounting from North Carolina State University. Wilson grew up in Laurinburg, NC and currently resides in Wilmington, NC with his wife, Aly and daughter McLean (4 months). Wilson is active at Hope Community Church, past Treasurer of NeighborHealth Center and Triangle Commercial Association of Realtors, and is an Eagle Scout. When not at TJT, Wilson enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and being outdoors.
William Ritter has spent his entire accounting career with TJT after starting with the firm in 2014. As a Tax Partner in the Raleigh office, he spends much of his time serving real estate clients and their ownership groups. William specializes in providing tax planning and compliance to passthrough entities and also has extensive experience consulting with clients on complex transactional work such as structuring/restructuring, mergers/acquisitions, and Opportunity Zones. William is a licensed Certified Public Accountant, a member of the AICPA and NCACPA, and has an undergraduate degree from East Carolina University with concentrations in accounting, finance, and risk management and insurance. William grew up in Williamston, NC and currently resides in Raleigh with his wife, Tricia. Outside of work, William enjoys playing golf, catching a ball game, and spending time with family and friends.
Haley, Wilson and William will be supported by the 200 employees of TJT working from our four office locations in Raleigh, Durham, Wilmington and Emerald Isle.
